Mission Statement

It is the mission of the John P and Eleanor R Yackel Foundation to support programs that create a just and peaceful society, build sustainable environments, and in all we do, work toward the common good.

Values

The work of the Foundation expresses the values of its founders: a hope for justice, peace, and intercultural harmony; support for education and literacy; concern for the protection of the environment; and interest in the arts and the expression that is unique to every individual.
