Mission Statement

It is the mission of the John P and Eleanor R Yackel Foundation to support programs that create a just and peaceful society, build sustainable environments, and in all we do, work toward the common good.

The John P. and Eleanor R. Yackel Foundation will be closing down, granting out its final assets during 2018. Candidate organizations for these grants have been identified through an internal process. We are not accepting unsolicited proposals. This will conclude the Foundation's tradition of giving to those organizations that create a just and peaceful society, build sustainable environments and work toward the common good.
